Elegant Statler City Wedding - Buffalo, NY - Chris & Sara

Stunningly elegant.

Those are the first words that come to mind when I think about Chris and Sara's wedding day.

Yes, their venues were gorgeous: getting ready at the Hotel at the Lafayette , and wedding ceremony and reception at Statler City.

But Chris and Sara's day went beyond pretty locations, and it captured who they are and what matters to them.

Chris's outfit featured a Scottish sash in honor of his family's heritage, Sara's bouquet and their dessert table featured "hidden Mickeys" in a subtle nod to their enjoyment of all things Disney (and their Disney World proposal!), and, perhaps most wonderfully, they changed into fantastic Belle and Beast outfits and danced a choreographed waltz!

Of course, there are other words as well. Heartfelt: there were quite a few tears during Sara's first look with her father, and during Chris and Sara's "no-look" gift exchange before the ceremony. There were also personal elements, with Chris's grandfather officiating the wedding and sharing the blessing for the meal.
