Arbor at the Port Summer Wedding - Rochester, NY - Karlie & Zach
I know I could say that every couple I get to work with is super cute... but seriously guys, Karlie and Zach take the cake (or cupcakes, in their case!). They're just adorable together! They're high school sweethearts, dating since their junior year. They've been together through college, first jobs, and have a place of their own.
And now their family and friends got to celebrate their love with them at a gorgeous wedding at the Arbor at the Port. And I mean it when I say their family surrounded them. Look at their wedding party - it's mostly their siblings!
It was so cool seeing all their brothers and sisters cheering them on!
One of the (many) things I love about my job are the small bits of time I get with the couple at different times of the day. As we're walking to a picture location, sometimes I'll ask how it's going and how they're feeling. A few different times I heard from both Karlie and Zach: "Oh my goodness, this is the BEST DAY EVER!!"
And it was.
The ladies got ready at the Ape + Canary Salon downtown, where Karlie's maid of honor works as a stylist - how cool is that!? They did portraits and a lovely first look at the Arbor at the Port. We did the first look inside because it was stinkin' hot and humid outside, and the Port made it easy to have a gorgeous location for their indoor first look.
Their ceremony was simple and sweet - emotional vow reading gets me every time, and there was plenty of that this day.
The reception and meal service were flawless - aside for the fire alarm going off during cocktail hour, which gave everyone a nice chance to catch a breath of fresh air before dinner started :-)
There's a lot more to love in this day, so enjoy the pictures! Thank you, Karlie and Zach, for inviting me to be part of your story!!
