Elegant Greek-American Wedding - Woodcliff Hotel

"Extravagant" isn't a word I use often, but it's what comes to mind when I think of Helena and Lefteris.

It can be used to describe their wedding day - more about that in a minute! - but far more importantly, it's how I'd describe their relationship with each other.

They overflow with love, passion, energy, enthusiasm, freedom, fun, and thoughtfulness. I saw those qualities in every part of their day, and they made it a joy to celebrate with Helena, Lefteris, and their friends and family.

Helena and Lefteris were previously married in a small courthouse wedding ceremony in Rochester, so this day at the Woodcliff Hotel was focused on celebrating with their friends and family.

Lefteris is from Greece - the country, not the suburb of Rochester! - and the day was a thoughtful mix of American and Greek cultures.

The flowers included an "evil eye," a Greek tradition to ward off evil spirits and thoughts., and the menu incorporated Mediterranean and traditional American food. And one of the highlights of the evening was Lefteris sharing a Greek dance after dinner!

The Woodcliff’s permanent tent was a wonderful space for the reception, and Kittleberger’s floral display can only be described as extravagant!
