George Eastman Museum Conservatory Wedding - Rochester, NY - Stephanie & Andrew
I always enjoy seeing the unique values that couples bring into their wedding plans. It’s what makes the day personal and meaningful to them, and it’s those moments that I work to capture so they can enjoy them for years to come.
Throughout Andrew and Stephanie’s day, I saw family, honor for the past, and mutual acceptance, love, and joy for each other.
The importance of family was obvious: most of the wedding party was related to the couple, and I loved seeing them all cheering on Andrew and Stephanie. The couple also went out of their way to find a gorgeous venue that featured an organ, so her brother - a professional organist - could play during the ceremony. The Conservatory at the George Eastman Museum is unmatched in its beauty and prestige - it’s only available a few times per year for weddings!
Andrew and Stephanie put extra effort into the honor they gave to their late family members. The ceremony had a row of chairs set aside for family who had passed away, and they similarly set a whole table at the reception in honor of those people. Seeing the memorial table set up was a significant moment for the couple when they saw it at the reception.
Finally, I loved the infectious smiles and joy Andrew and Stephanie had for each other. They laughed and enjoyed each other all day, and they make pictures fun and easy!
The ceremony was held in the Conservatory at the George Eastman Museum, and the reception was held at Burgandy Basin. Florals were by Wisteria Flowers and Gifts and the phenomenal cake was by Get Caked - it was a Niagara Falls + Magic the Gathering themed cake. You have to check it out below!!
Andrew and Stephanie, thank you so much for inviting me into your day, and enjoy your images!
