George Eastman Museum Ceremony & Del Monte Lodge Renaissance Hotel Reception - Rochester, NY - Alex & Jian
When I first met Alex and Jian, I felt an instant connection. Not only did they enjoy my pictures of the George Eastman Museum, and ended up holding their ceremony there, but Jian is from China. I lived in China for two years after college, and that country and its people will always have a special place in my heart.
Alex and Jian knew they wanted a simple, personal day that featured their closest friends and family, and while Jian's family couldn't travel from China, Alex & Jian made the most of every part of their day.
One of my favorite moments what their first look. When Alex is with Jian, he has the look of someone who just won the lottery - I love how much he lights up around her! This joy was on full display at their first look, and I loved every minute!
Their ceremony was at the George Eastman Museum, in the sunny West Gardens. Alex's longtime friend John officiated the ceremony, and then they were off to an intimate reception at the Del Monte Lodge Renaissance Hotel in Pittsford, NY.
The reception featured only what mattered most to Alex and Jian: a wonderful meal, cake, their first dance, and then plenty of time to connect with their guests.
