Kim and Vince made some wedding choices that made me feel right at home. First, they chose the same (stinkin'-hot!) week of the year for their wedding that my wife and I did eight years ago: the third week of July. They also chose a local park, like we did, to be the backdrop of their elegantly-simple wedding. They joined one hundred of their closest family and friends to celebrate their love together, and I loved getting to watch them enjoy their day together.
The ladies started out getting ready at the Holiday Inn in Webster, and the guys were at Kim and Vince's place. Then we traveled to Webster Park for a really special first look on the pier, and the ceremony under a covered pavilion.
Kim and Vince's reception was held in the brand new Lakefront Lodge in Webster Park, and can I just say: it's perfect! For one, it has air conditioning, so we can just stop talking right there!
But on top of that, it's right by the water, the sun sets through the beautiful window wall, and it's a modern yet intimate space for a small to medium-sized wedding. It was lovely!
There were great, and awkward, moments as the best man shared some special moments he's had with Vince (ahem), the bridesmaids were super cute when they saw Kim in her dress for the first time, and much more. Kim and Vince, enjoy your images, and I can't wait to get you your artwork soon!!
