Every couple brings personal elements into their wedding plans - pictures of family who couldn't attend, handwritten notes to read before the ceremony, and much more.
But some couples craft a wedding day that so captures their personality and interests that it amazes me.
That's Isaac and Valerie.
I got a glimpse of this when we first met over a year ago, and they described how they loved their venue because of its privacy and intimacy. There would be no random people observing their day; just the closest friends and family cheering them on.
That's who Issac and Valerie are - private, sincere, and fun-loving. From their Up-themed engagement session, to the sky lantern release at night, the framed movie quotes, and the clear-top tent hosting the reception, their day was wonderfully personal and completely them.
The whole day happened at the Redmond House [https://theredmondhouseny.com/weddings.php], near Dansville, NY. The large house let the guys get ready downstairs, while the ladies took the top level. Their first look in the forest ceremony site was magical, and I started to lose it when they held on to each other and wouldn't let go after seeing each other for the first time.
The weather was a perfect Western NY summer day, and I feel fortunate and blessed that I got to be with Isaac and Valerie as their guests celebrated with them. Isaac and Val, thank you so much for giving me the honor of capturing these memories with you, and I can't wait for you to have your artwork soon!
