Dan and Donne planned a beautiful, family-oriented wedding day at Dan's home church in Jamestown, NY. Family is a big deal for this couple, and this is the first time Donne's siblings have all been together in years! And it was fun for me because I've known Donne's maid of honor for almost a decade. It's always fun knowing the people I get to work with!
Dan and Donne chose to do a first look so they could minimize their guests' downtime between the ceremony and reception. They were super cute together: after the first look was done, we started walking to our next location. Donne looked over at Dan and said: "Wow, you look great! I didn't notice because I was just looking at your face during our first look." Super cute, right!?
I had a bunch of favorite moments from the day: Donne reading Dan's letter to her (there were tears), Donne wearing jewelry that was a gift from her father who passed away, and Donne's sister sharing a story from their childhood that Donne apparently wished hadn't been told.
It was a wonderful day that encapsulated what matters most to Dan and Donne, and I'm so glad I got to be part of it. Dan and Donne, thank you for inviting me to share in your celebration, and enjoy your images!!
